Schaumburg, IL – (April 21, 2010)- Chefs’ Fest 2010, the original food & beverage sampling event, produced by the Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau, returns May 11, 2010 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Arlington Park Racecourse, Euclid Avenue and Wilke Roads, Arlington Heights, IL.
Chefs’ Fest 2010 is a multi-faceted event featuring food & beverage samplings from nearly 70 local restaurants and is expected to attract approximately 2,500 spectators. Produced annually by the Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau, this 17th annual culinary festival provides a showcase for the northwest areas restaurants and hotels and is an outstanding opportunity to spotlight local businesses and services.
Live Entertainment
This three-hour extravaganza also serves up live entertainment including jazz music from Herb Porter & Friends, the Arlingtones barbershop choir, and piano music from Big Shot Piano Lounge of Arlington Heights. Back by popular demand, Lynfred Winery is conducting a “Wine 101” demonstration.
Charitable Food Drive
The event will collect non-perishable food donations to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository serving food pantries in the Chicago Northwest area. Last year, Chefs’ Fest attendees donated over 20 cases of food to help those in need.
Tickets Information
Individual tickets are $35 the day of the event or $30 purchased in advance.
An Advance Group Rate of $25 each is available for pre-event purchases of 10 or more tickets. Parking is free. Professional Meeting Planner Event
A simultaneous Bureau sponsored event, Hotels At the Park Executive Reception will pair professional meeting planners with member hotel partners in order to attract new meeting and convention business to the region. The meeting planners will round out their event by attending the Chefs’ Fest to discover area restaurants and other businesses.
